THE 122ND BOMB SQUADRON RESTORATION UNIT
29 June 2007
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita devastated Jackson Barracks and the Jackson Barracks Military Museum. The area remained under brackish salt water for more than two weeks. Jackson barracks is being totally demolished and rebuilt. Jackson Barracks and the Museum as we knew them are now history. The Jackson Barracks Military Museum web site and the 122nd Restoration Unit web site are now a part of that history. In order to preserve that history we are combining the museum web site with our 122nd Restoration Unit web site. You can explore the original JBMM and Restoration Unit sites then follow the reconstruction as we begin to build a new history. The 122nd Restoration Unit has been and will continue to work closely with the Museum staff.
