When it was decided that a paint booth was needed to provide an environmentally safe area for spray painting small parts Ernest Daunis and Philip Fielding felt they were up to the task. With the help of some of the other members a booth was designed and built with blowers to pull the paint laden air through filters which remove the paint before it re-enters the atmosphere. With the addition of racks for holding parts to be painted and lights it was complete.
