A-4 DEDICATION
8 Nov. 2002

  Dedication ceremonies for the A-4C Skyhawk were held Friday, Nov. 8, 2002 at the Veterans Century of Sentries Park in Kenner La. Presiding was the Honorable Louis J. Congemi, Mayor, City of Kenner. After the Presentation of Colors by the Navy Color Guard the National Anthem was played by the United States Navy Brass Quintet. The Invocation was given by United States Navy Chaplain Barbara Wood. Key Note Speaker was United States Navy Captain Sean King. Colonel LSG Arthur Alberti (Ret), Chairman of The 122nd Bomb Squadron Restoration Group, spoke of the history and accomplishments of the organization. Dedication was followed by a Rifle Salute by the United States Navy. After a photo session, refreshments were served. Entertainment was provided by the United States Navy Band, New Orleans Crescent City Brass Quintet.
