NEW BRIEFINGS

PHOTO CDs (STILL AVAILABLE)

At present we have a set ot three photo CDs available. Disk #1 contains photos from Lt. Col. Robert Monsted's collection of almost 100 slides of the 122nd Bombardment Squadron taken in 1948, 1949 and 1952 at San Marcos, Kelly Field and Langley AFB. We were able to identify most of the men in the photos although there were a few we could not. There are also some ladies, two in cowgirl outfits, who remain unidentified. Disk #2 contains over 2500 photos of the activities of the Restoration Unit from 1993 beginning with the Douglas A-26 project through 2003. This disk also contains the history of the 122nd Bomb Squadron written by Lt. Col. Robert Monsted. Disk #3 covers activities from 2004 through March 2006 including photos of the devastating effect of hurricane Katrina on Jackson Barracks and the Military Museum. All photos were taken or supplied by me and the other members of the Restoration Unit. These disks are available at a very low cost. Contact me at admin@122nd.com.-----Tom Isbell
